LGBTIQ+ Individuals experience all forms of bullying and abuse, in addition to the constant rejection from their families and societies.

LGBTIQ+ have significant Mental Health needs.
These experiences often cause individuals to feel shame, fear and depressed. Such experiences are often lived from childhood into adulthood, the lasting effects of experiences with such prejudice and discrimination are profound.
Therefore, the LGBTIQ+ have significant mental health needs, as they struggle their way out of depression, anxiety, trauma and self-acceptance. However, the social and institutional stigma governs and stands in the way of professionals from publicly showing support and reaching to the LGBTIQ+ community, thus, leaving members of the community without resources and referrals to trusted and safe professionals that can offer their mental health services.
